Neon – New & Improved

When most people think of neon, the 1980s and all of its off-the-wall trends seem to always come to mind. But really people, let’s move on from the ’80s – that was seriously over 30 years ago! And yes, while Molly Ringwald was great in Pretty in Pink and we all loved her dress at the end, neon really has come a long way since crimped hair and the Brat Pack. Nowadays, the neon look is all about the color pop – not overdoing it. Pair bright colors together. Work in a neon accessory or two with an outfit composed of more neutral colors. Less is more with neon – it’s all about the pop! Check out Hadley Emerson’s take on the new and improved neon. I promise you won’t think back to the ’80s!
